40HQ Container Loading Notes (for LVL, timber & wood panels)

Container inner size: 12.03m(L) × 2.35m(W) × 2.69m(H). Extra-long goods like 6.1m LVL will waste nearly half container space if loaded alone, which leads to much higher unit freight cost.

Strictly control loading weight to avoid overweight surcharge, shipment delay and destination port penalty.
Heavy goods such as LVL beams shall be placed evenly to prevent container deformation and tilting during transit.
All goods must be well packed with straps, stretch film and corner protectors. Use desiccant and waterproof cover for humid shipping routes to prevent mildew and damage.

Reinforce and fix all cargo with straps and wooden blocks. Fill gaps tightly to avoid sliding, collision and breakage in transit.
Loading order: heavy & long goods first, then light and small items to keep stable center of gravity.
Inspect the container in advance for damage, water leakage and dirt before loading.
For long-size LVL, we highly recommend mixing with other sizes or wood products to fully fill the container and save your total cost.
Ensure packing list and bill of lading data are fully consistent. Prepare fumigation and customs documents in advance for smooth clearance.
